Financial Stewardship: Honouring God with Your Resources

Jesus spoke about money more than almost any other subject. Not because money is evil — but because it has an extraordinary power to shape our hearts and our priorities. 1 Timothy 6:10 warns that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. The antidote is not poverty but stewardship — the recognition that everything we have belongs to God and we are managers, not owners. At RCCG Harvest Centre, we teach a biblical approach to finances that includes giving generously, saving wisely, spending intentionally, and avoiding the trap of debt. Tithing — giving ten percent of your income to God — is a spiritual discipline that many of our members have found transformative, not just financially but in terms of their trust in God. We also recognise that financial pressures are real, and we are committed to supporting members who are struggling. If you would like guidance on biblical financial principles, speak to one of our pastoral team.
