Romans 12:1 calls us to offer our bodies as living sacrifices — holy and pleasing to God — as our true and proper worship. This is a radical reframing of what worship means. It is not limited to singing in church, as wonderful as that is. Worship is the posture of a life fully surrendered to God. It is the way you do your work, the way you treat your colleagues, the way you handle money, the way you speak to your family. At Harvest Centre, our Sunday services are designed to be a catalyst — a moment of encounter with God that sends us back into the world as worshippers. We want every member of our congregation to leave on Sunday not just having sung songs, but having been transformed. Worship that stays in the building has missed the point. True worship spills out into Monday morning, into the school run, into the office, into every corner of ordinary life.
